Adaptability Canada commits to development of supplier diversity by joining WBE Canada

(March 22, 2016, TORONTO, ON) Adaptability Canada—a national supplier of accessible equipment, construction and consulting services—has become the latest corporate member of WBE Canada. The commitment will support WBE Canada’s efforts to increase supplier diversity and facilitate access to corporate supply chains for women-owned business enterprises (WBEs) across Canada.

“Adaptability Canada’s membership with WBE Canada recognizes its commitment to community engagement by expanding opportunities for women-led businesses,” said Mary Anderson, President of WBE Canada. "We look forward to supporting their objectives.”

“Our business is founded on increasing diversity and inclusion, so it is a natural fit for us to extend these principles to our supply chain,” stated Jeff Wilson, CEO of Adaptability Canada. “Partnering with WBE Canada is an important part of our overall efforts to support diversity in the marketplace.”

Adaptability Canada is also in the process of implementing a broader diversity supply program, which will extend to all of its business initiatives.

“Business owners who have disabilities are not recognized as diverse groups,” concluded Wilson. “We are looking to change this in Canada.”
